SOAR is partnering with Natalie Hawkings to have Meaning Through Music classes once a month. Natalie is a board-certified music therapist, and has worked in special education classrooms for nearly 5 years. She is very passionate about parent/caregiver education.

Meaning Through Music will meet the 1st Tuesday night of each month at the SOAR office located at 12201 W 88th St., Lenexa, KS 66215. The cost is $5 per participant. Parents are Free.

Bring your entire family for an evening of instruments, movement, and learning together!

Goal areas such as social skills, cognitive stimulation, movement and mobility, and self-regulation will be addressed through the music activities provided. This group is led by a board-certified music therapist working in special education and is designed for the whole family to participate with each other. This group will be 30 minutes in length for the large group, and if there are some more motivated individuals, they will have an opportunity to explore the music and instruments before and after the group at their leisure. Groups will be designed to those in attendance.
