Doc is blessed to be married to Kay and they are proud parents to three beautiful children: Luke, Mark, and Sarah. The Hunsley’s middle child, Mark, is presently running the halls of heaven. During Mark’s five-year earthly stay, he gave his family the opportunity to learn from and love a child with autism. Doc is passionate about helping families with special needs, loves baseball – especially the KC Royals, everything MIZZOU, spending time with his family, and giving people a hard time! Laura is our Activities Director. She oversees all of our events including our camps, respites, the Wonderfully Made Conference, and more. Elizabeth is a fifteen-month long SOAR Intern and she assists with all aspects of our organization – from camp and R&R to church consultations and developing parent mentor programs. She is passionate about helping churches develop their special needs programming and empowering ministry leaders.
