SOAR Disability Ministry Network presents:

City-Wide Volunteer Disability Training

Sat, May 30, 9a-12pm
Connection Point Church
10500 E 350 Hwy, Raytown, MO

Is your church ready to welcome every family?

One Visit. One Moment.

That’s all it takes to change everything. When a family with a disability walks through your doors for the first time, your volunteers are the difference between “We finally found our church home” and “We’ll never go back.” Led by Doc Hunsley, founder of SOAR Special Needs, you can help your church become a Church of Belonging!

Who should attend?

  • Children/Student Ministry Volunteers
  • Special Needs Ministry Volunteers
  • Ushers/Greeters/Security Teams
  • First Time Visitor Hosts
  • ALL Church Volunteers

Registration is required. $5/person thanks to a Seeds of Joy grant covering most of the expenses.

Because EVERY family deserves to belong!

  • This is a FREE event!

SOAR Disability Ministry Network Facebook Page

Join the SOAR Disability Ministry Network Facebook page – A network with other churches and organizations that minister to families with special needs or have a desire to know how to do that. No matter the size of our different programs or interests, we can all help one another by sharing items we have learned and share best practices with one another. I hope that this would be a great resource to churches who are trying to figure out what their next step is in the Disability/Special Needs Ministry, as well as those already established.
